Florin, Selena & the entire FIDASmart team are delighted to share the official invite to the IR Global Eastern Europe meeting, due to take place in Bucharest, from 8th to 10th of May.
The originally received expressions of interest have encouraged us to ensure that this will be a memorable event, where we expect to build on the wealth of opportunities offered by the local ecosystem and integrate them into the pan-European network which will be present at the event.
To reserve your place please RSVP. We kindly ask you to confirm your intention to participate in the event by no later than 15th of March. Given the limited space, we cannot confirm your place at the event after this date (first come, first served basis). A participation fee of €350 +VAT will be required to secure your place. We have carefully picked the themes and speakers for the event. While we are still waiting for some confirmations, we are happy to present the details available now.
Event main venue
We will spend our short time together in the lovely set-up of a 19th century palace, the former headquarters of the Marmorosch bank, situated in the heart of Bucharest and re-invented into a 5* hotel, welcoming guests from all over the world.

8th of May: 6 p.m. – Welcome cocktail at Marmorosch hotel 9th of May: Conference Day
09:30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m Investment opportunities in Romania. Open discussion with a panel of experts from the following sectors: renewable energy, real estate and venture capital. Speakers will be announced shortly.
11:00 – 11:30: Coffee break
11:30 – 12:30: Networking tables – debriefing on investment opportunities and potential cooperation throughout Europe
12:30 – 14:00: Lunch
14:00 – 15:00: Roundtable with one selected financial advisor and one representative of a significant bank doing business in Romania and actively supporting investments in the sectors discussed in the morning session.
15:00 – 15:30: Closing remarks
15:30 – 18:00: Free time
18:00 – 22:00: Dinner & Drinks at Marmorosch hotel
10th of May: 09:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. “Quest of Bucharest” – An unique experience that will take us inside some landmarks of Bucharest such as the renowned Palace of the Parliament (the world’s second-largest administrative building after the Pentagon) and Ceausescu’s former residence. On our journey between these communist symbols, we will travel in space and time between gorgeous interbellic mansions and stylish cafés which remind us why Bucharest was once called “le petit Paris de l’Est”.
