IR Global hosts three international events each year. These include our Annual Conference and two ‘On the Road’ events split between the Americas and Asia/Pacific.
In addition, there are multiple national/regional events hosted and sponsored by our members and external industry events we are represented at such as the IBA and INTA.

Event FAQ
How do I register for events?
All IR Global events can be registered via a link on their landing page – you can see all our upcoming events above.
When you complete your registration for an event, we’ll automatically send you an email confirmation from our events team. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact us.
Can I bring colleagues? How do they register?
Yes, colleagues from your firm can attend under the same exclusive practice area and jurisdiction information as the membership lead. You can register them individually via the event registration link.
Can I bring guests?
All IRG conferences permit guests. Please refer to the individual event page to see what is on offer and the associated costs.
May I send someone in my place to an event?
Your registration for a meeting, conference, and any other type of event is transferable to another individual employed by your organisation. We do request advanced notice of the change so we can update itineraries and conference materials.
How much do events cost?
Our event tickets vary in price dependant on the ticket type requested. Please refer to the individual event page to see the ticket levels on offer.
The event is fully booked, how can I get a place?
IRG places our conferences in venues of a suitable size for each event; however, there are times when our conferences may sell out. Should this happen, prospective delegates will be informed, and a waiting list will operate. The waiting list will function on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, subject to receiving delegate cancellations. The waiting list for a conference will close once it has reached ten per cent of the conference venue capacity, as it is very unlikely a place will become available.
IRG will not be liable for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by an individual who travels to a conference without a confirmed place at the event.
How can I pay my events fee?
You can pay for your IR Global invoice via Bank Transfer or Credit Card.
Our invoice terms are 14 days once issued and our invoices include all payment options and details. For further questions on payments and invoicing please contact [email protected].
How can I find out about future events?
All IRG events will be communicated to our members via our newsletter and emails. You can also find all IRG upcoming events on our event calendar.
Do I need an event badge? How do I access this?
When you arrive at an IRG conference there will be an opportunity to receive your event badge. Your event badge is a valuable resource as will highlight your conference sessions and any other relevant information.
We request name badges be worn during the conference and at social functions.
What time should I arrive?
For each conference your full personal itinerary and event schedule (including all arrival and session times) will be detailed via your event app. Details of how to access each app and its features will be shared within 4 weeks of the event start date.
Is free Wi-Fi available at events?
Yes at IRG events we work closely with our venues to offer complimentary Wi-Fi wherever possible. Where this is not possible it will be detailed in your pre-event information.
Will there be filming and photography at your events?
Yes, at each of our events we do have professional photography and videography in place.
Sessions and/or social functions may be photographed and/or filmed and some of this content may be used for future IRG marketing materials, member communications, products or services. Should you have any concerns about this, or do not wish to be featured in any of these materials please contact the IRG Marketing team via [email protected] No participant, attending in any capacity, is authorised to record or film the conference working sessions, workshops or social function without the prior written permission of the IRG events team.
What about travel arrangements and visas?
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. It is recommended that you check your visa requirements with your local embassy or consulate. We are unable to dispatch visa invitation letters to support your visa application prior to receipt of your booking form and full payment of fees. Please apply for your visa in good time.
What is the dress code?
For the majority of our conferences the dress code is business attire for the formal sessions and business / business casual for our social events. Where a specific dress code is required for our venues, we will inform attendees with advanced notice.
How do I share my dietary requirements?
Prior to each event registered attendees receive a pre-event survey to complete which will request this information. You can also email [email protected] to note your requirements.
IRG endeavours to accommodate all special dietary requests confirmed to us before bookings close. Requests made after this time cannot be guaranteed.
What are your cancellation policies?
Each event cancellation policy will be accessible via the individual event page. By securing a ticket via our registration link you will be requested to read our terms and conditions in full and agree to them prior to purchase.
How do I find your events app?
Prior to each conference you will receive details of how to access our event app from our events team. Each IRG event has an individual app with its own login process. You will be able to locate IRG event apps via your app store.
How can I get a new copy of my certificate of attendance for an event?
Following each event our attendees will receive a CPD certificate directly to their inboxes within 6 – 10 weeks. CPD credits can be converted to those recognised in your jurisdiction via your Bar or Accountancy professional association.
How can I promote my attendance?
For each event, our events team create a bespoke ‘see you there’ postcard which you can share alongside the event hashtag to promote your attendance across your social media platforms. We encourage you to also seek out others posts and engage with them to further promote your attendance.
Many members also produce short form content (blog post, video etc) to share why they are attending and what they are looking to achieve to great success.
