Maprima is an established professional service provider with a track record of almost twenty years. We are a BeNeLux based firm with offices in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. Most of our clients are internationally active companies and wealthy families. We are proud to have developed long standing relationships with these clients. Our team consists of more than twenty hands on professionals (administration, reporting, fiscal compliance, legal, management) working together in a flat organization. Our size allows us to offer the technical expertise, continuity and experience needed in English, French, German or Dutch. At Maprima we do not consider our clients as “files”. Clients are the very reason of our existence. The absence of a large overhead allows us to offer services at a reasonable fee level.

Over the years we have developed a good understanding of our client’s needs. It is this very understanding that helps us unburden our clients by making the BeNeLux aspects of their business as easy and smooth as possible.

Mr. Theo Coulen has been a Partner at Maprima since 2005 and has more than 20 years experience as a tax advisor. He served as Member of various Management Boards of internationally operating companies. Mr. Coulen started his career at Arthur Andersen and served at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and ZR Belastingadviseurs. At Andersen and Deloitte, Mr. Coulen specialized in international and national corporate income tax. He applied this knowledge to internationally related tax issues for wealthy individuals at ZR Belastingadviseurs.

Mr. Coulen practiced all aspects of tax law and was responsible for clients listed at stock exchanges as well as wealthy individuals. He holds a University degree in Tax Law from the University of Maastricht with a specialization in European and International Tax Law.

Corporate Services:

Maprima can provide a business address and one or more directors, but can also support a company with all kinds of legal, tax and administrative matters, such as:

• organizing shareholders’ meetings, including preparation of the minutes hereof
• preparing shareholders’ and board resolutions
• preparing powers of attorney in combination with the review of the transaction
• opening bank accounts and handling domestic and international payments
• complying with the reporting obligations towards tax and other authorities
• preparing loan and other agreements
• liaising with external advisors, auditors, lawyers and notaries

In addition to these corporate services, Maprima can also handle the bookkeeping and administration for a company, prepare interim financial reports, the annual accounts and the annual publication report, and prepare the annual corporate income tax return and periodic VAT returns.

Maprima appreciates however that clients may already have their own consultants who handle these matters for them. In that case, Maprima will of course gladly cooperate with the client’s advisors and assist them where necessary.
