Selena is a seasoned business consultant with more than 10 years of experience in advising local and international clients. A summa cum laude law graduate, she followed the path from Magic Circle law firm, to in-house counsel, to personal advisor to the shareholders, before setting-up FIDASmart in 2016 together with Florin Dobre.
Selena offers to the clients an expertise that extends beyond the traditional legal realm: she attended specialized London Business School training on financial management and was involved as project manager in complex legal and tax projects, both at national and international levels.
A short selection of projects in which Selena was involved:
- Assistance with the due diligence activity, legal drafting and negotiations for the largest M&A transaction on the Romanian Pharma market – sale of A&D Pharma group to DrMax group, an affiliate of Penta Investments Limited
- Assistance with the due diligence activity, legal drafting and negotiations for the sale to Ascendis Group of the No. 1 food supplements company in Romania – Sunwave Pharma
- Assisting an international client in the acquisition of convertible promissory notes from a US company during a private equity financing procedure and in the subsequent conversion of the notes and subscription of shares in a related UK private company
- Assisting an international client in the acquisition of a minority stake in a Japanese company and subsequent joint venture established to take over the international business of the company.
