We represent clients in both transactional matters and litigation. Our firm's mission is to provide practical, effective, and detail-oriented representation for all of our clients - from high net-worth individuals to large organizations to small businesses and startups. 

Sam Linnet founded Alturas Law Group, PLLC after serving as a law clerk for Blaine County District Court. Mr. Linnet has helped landowners, local businesses, non-profit organizations, commercial developers, and high-net worth individuals solve their legal problems in the Sun Valley, Idaho area, as well as throughout the state of Idaho. He has both a law degree and a master's degree in environmental science from the University of Idaho. He prides himself on providing no-nonsense advice and working hard to find the best solution to his clients as quickly as possible. Mr. Linnet earned a B.S. in environmental studies from The College of Idaho, where he also captained the track and field and alpine ski teams. Mr. Linnet calls the central Idaho mountains his home with his wife and two small children. He is also an elected city councilmember for the City of Hailey.
