With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Salman has a Ph.D. in International Business Law from the University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, UK. He completed his professional and practical studies in the College of Law of England and Wales. His studies covered international mergers and acquisitions, international arbitration law, capital markets and loans, international joint ventures, and international business organizations.

He has worked in a wide field of business law areas in the UAE. As a legal consultant in leading law firms, he handled construction projects, maritime law, drafting legislations, sports law, and corporate law. He also spent four yearsworking as a legal advisor for the Business Administration Legislations Division before accepting the role of senior legal advisor in Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) and Abu Dhabi Development Department (DED).

Dr. Salman also served as the chair of the law program in Abu Dhabi University, where he also taught business law, employment law, and handled all legal aspects of contract management in the university. He is a recurrent visiting lecturer of business law in Chiefly Business School, the Swiss Business School, the University of Atlanta, and the Arabian Gulf University.
To add to his list of already impressive credentials, Dr. Salman is a fellow of the International Bar Association (IBA) and a member of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) in London, UK.
