Can you tell us a bit about you?
I love defying expectations and doing the unexpected. This is first illustrated by playing football for my local team, inspired by the incredible Lionesses…Russooooo!
When I’m not playing football, I’m usually diving into yet another DIY project, transforming my new-build house into a cosy home by adding texture and colour to every room, I’ve seen Interior Design Masters…Thank you. As well as taking care of my 30+ house plants and playing with my cat Nelly, I love listening to podcasts, with Off Menu, British Scandal, and The Louis Theroux Podcast being my absolute favourites. And when it comes to a date night nothing beats Red Hot Mamma’s—their arancini is pure heaven and don’t even get me started on the pizza.

What is your role at IRG?
At IR Global I work within the Digital Team as a Digital Marketing Executive; daily tasks include overseeing IR Global’s social media, planning for future events, and uploading content across 3rd party platforms such as Mondaq, Lexology, and JD Supra.
I am also responsible for managing relationships with digital and trusted partners, working closely with them to deliver additional design, social, and PR support. Additional duties include making updates to the IRG website, creating newsletters, Member Spotlights, supporting in the creation of podcasts and editing videos for both YouTube, and Spotify.

What brand reflects you the most and why?
The brand that I feel is most representative of me is Lucy & Yak, a British clothing brand with heart. Their ethos is ‘to create pieces that inspire joy and creativity and are kinder to the planet’. They started small, selling second-hand pieces on Depop and Vinted, and now have stores across the UK.
I like their playful approach, use of sustainable materials and acceptance of all.
I love that they are kind to the planet, and to people and have a sense of humour, qualities I feel I also possess.
‘In this world where you can be anything, be kind.’

What’s your biggest IRG highlight to date?
I would say my biggest highlight to date is attending my first conference in Paris. It was equal measures tiring, inspiring and overwhelming. But being able to connect with so many members in person that I had forged relationships with over Zoom calls and emails was great. It was also nice to be immersed in the event I had previously helped prep for but had not seen in person. The IRG spirit was so joyous, and it has offered me a deeper insight into our members and the network itself.

Name something you can’t live without.
Laughter – it seems overrated and easy to live without, but seriously even in the darkest times if you can share laughter with someone it makes stuff better. All my favourite memories include it, my friends, family, and teammates laughing so hard they can’t speak is just the best thing ever. But you can’t fake it… that laughter therapy is creepy as.
