Washington, DC – Clark Hill attorney William J. Walsh has been selected to serve on the National Academy of Science’s (NAS) Committee on Alternatives for the Demilitarization of Conventional Munitions. This Committee will advise the Army concerning methods of resolving the scientific and regulatory issues associated with the destruction of conventional munitions. Walsh has served on over a dozen prior NAS Committees, including the Committee on Future Options for Management in the National’s Subsurface Remediation Effort and six years on the Standing Committee on Chemical Demilitarization. He is a National Associate of the NAS, a special lifetime honor bestowed on individuals to recognize formally their outstanding contributions to the National Academy’s work.
