Richard joined Broadhurst in 2020 from a leading offshore law firm where he was primarily involved in contentious trust litigation and cross-border insolvency disputes.
During his time at Broadhurst, Richard has continued to be primarily focused on the institution, conduct and defence of contentious insolvency and restructuring litigation on behalf of liquidators and foreign corporate defendants, however, has expanded his practice to include acting on behalf of both corporate and individual clients in various commercial disputes within the Cayman Islands – including but not limited to: joint venture disputes, probate disputes, trust disputes, breach of contract claims, breach of confidence and professional negligence claims, and planning matters.
