Biographie

Peter joined the Zirkzee Group as a partner in 2018. He has years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial services, compliance and governance, both nationally and internationally. Peter graduated in 1998 as a chartered accountant from the Free University of Amsterdam. After this he started working as an auditor at an office that specializes in non-profit organizations where he worked for 17 years.

For many years, Peter was an ambassador for the accountancy profession at the Royal Dutch Association of Accountants (NBA) and a member of the Technical Committee of the NBA.

Within Wecountancy he is office director of the Noordwijk branch. He is also responsible for compliance as a quality monitor for the non-assurance practice.

In addition to his job at Wecountancy and a family with 2 daughters, Peter is co-founder of and longtime treasurer of a foundation that stands up for the rights of children with a hearing impairment in Tanzania.

To relax he likes to play tennis, he does boot camps and he likes to visit the hockey games of one of his daughters.
