As Chairman and CEO of Panalitix, Mark is responsible for growing the business to serve the needs of Accounting firms in North America, Europe, Asia and Australasia.
Mark began his career as a commercial lawyer, admitted to practice as an attorney in South Africa. In 1993, he relocated to Japan where he followed an entrepreneurial path establishing businesses to serve multinational companies in areas such as Information Technology, Business Process Optimization, Outsourcing, Recruitment and Market Research. Through a series of trade sales, two of which involved publicly listed buyers, Mark sold his business interests and relocated to Australia in 2012. He currently serves on various boards, lectures in an Executive MBA program and has investments in early stage businesses, including Panalitix in which he holds a majority share.
Outside of business, Mark co-founded a not-for-profit in 2006 which deploys Facility Dogs to paediatric hospitals. He’s a fan of musical theatre and won a Tony Award as co-producer of a Broadway revival in 2018. Mark enjoys golf and Crossfit and is currently based in Queensland, Australia.
