Mr. Raymundo’s tax litigation practice is equally impressive. He has won numerous and precedent-setting cases in claims for refund of taxes, and protests against deficiency internal revenue and local tax assessments, with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), various local government units, the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), the Regional Trial Courts (RTC), and the Supreme Court. Among others, he successfully represented a client in claiming the refund of erroneously paid taxes in the amount of Php 220 million.
The dynamics of his core legal practice extends to providing advisory and due diligence work, corporate housekeeping, contract drafting and review, labor representation, and other regulatory matters with other government agencies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and the Philippine Intellectual Property Office (IPOPHL).
