John is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in both public practice and commercial accounting across Australia and the United Kingdom since 1987. John graduated from University of Canberra in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. John was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia as a Member in 1993 and as a Fellow in 2013. John has also completed a Diploma in Financial Planning in 2016.
Along with his extensive tax knowledge, John assists business clients with structuring their business affairs so as to minimise tax, protect their financial interests and provide maximum flexibility with respect to their goals of building wealth and maximising their returns. John has a particular interest in valuations and re-structuring, succession planning, business sales and acquisitions.
John also acts as resident director, secretary and public officer for a number of Australian subsidiaries of overseas companies and Local Agent for Foreign companies registered in Australia and advises on corporate matters generally in regards to those positions.
In his spare time, John plays cricket, guitar and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
