Jennifer is an intellectual property (IP) lawyer, trademark agent, and patent agent with an engineering background. She uses her extensive experience gained both in-house and private practice to provide pragmatic and nuanced counsel to her clients. She has advised and represented multinational corporations and small businesses alike on a wide range of IP matters in a variety of industries, including the biomedical, information technology, oil and gas, solar, nuclear, injection molding, and consumer products industries.
Jennifer’s litigation experience includes patent, industrial design, trademark and copyright infringement and impeachment cases in the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. Jennifer has also developed and managed global patent and trademark portfolios and strategies for her clients, worked with clients on licensing agreements, and advised clients on various aspects of IP law.
Given her diverse legal and IP experience, Jennifer is well-placed to work with clients on identifying, protecting, and commercializing their IP, enforcing IP rights, and defending against infringement allegations. Jennifer also helps businesses develop and operationalize IP strategies that align with their business objectives. This includes creating and managing IP asset portfolios, drafting and reviewing agreements, assessing freedom to operate, and developing company policies, procedures and templates.
