During his many years in legal practice in Melbourne, Geoffrey has worked closely with his clients to grow and protect their businesses and family assets. In his varied practice as a property, commercial, IP and media lawyer Geoffrey has advised in a wide range of business and private transactions.
In the mid-1990s Geoffrey established a pioneering digital media law practice and as a media lawyer Geoffrey has acted as legal adviser in Australian and international e-commerce law, computer game development and film and television financing in Australia and overseas markets. He also drove the establishment of www.trademarkit.com.au, the online trade mark search and registration division service of Shiff & Company.
Focussing primarily on commercial and real estate transactions and high net worth estate planning over the past few years, Geoffrey acts as personal legal adviser to many business owners, property investors and families.
