Eric’s major areas of practice include: income tax planning and compliance; foreign and international tax matters; business valuation; multi-state tax matters; estate and gift tax planning; audit and financial accounting services; general business consultation; and benefit and retirement planning. In addition to other sectors, Eric’s practice at CCK involves companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries. As a result, his professional experience has grown to include foreign and international tax matters.
Eric holds tax and business consulting experience in connection with client business presence in the following jurisdictions: Algeria, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Madagascar, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Oman, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad, Turkey, Turks & Caicos, Uganda, and the United Kingdom. He is currently working with clients with tax filings and other compliance matters in 47 U.S. States.
Eric is a Founding Partner of the CCK Firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, Accredited in Business Valuation, and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Eric is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts; the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants; and the Institute of Management Accountants. He has a long-term commitment to serve in professional organizations including serving as a past President of the Tulsa Chapter of the OSCPA; a past Director of the Board of the OSCPA; a past member of the OSCPA Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Support Committee; past Chairman of the OSCPA Taxation Committee; and a past Chairman of the OSCPA Tulsa Chapter Continuing Education Committee. Eric is a member of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and the Tulsa Tax Forum. Eric is also active through CCK Corporate Sponsorship in the Tulsa Chapter of the Oklahoma Ethics Consortium.
Eric feels a deep sense of responsibility and desire to give back to the community, and he is the Board President of the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. As a native Tulsan who has traveled many times by bicycle through more than 15 countries, Eric holds a passion to see the state of Oklahoma reach its highest potential, which is why he was recently inducted into the Oklahoma District Export Council for a 4 year term. The U.S. Department of Commerce has selected his nomination as an individual for appointment by the Secretary of Commerce to serve as a member of the Oklahoma Council. In our country’s finest tradition of volunteerism, the approval of his membership is important to a national economical goal of expanding the U.S. exports. Eric is also active through CCK Corporate Sponsorship in the Tulsa Global Alliance (TGA), currently serving as TGA Secretary/Treasurer.
Eric has also previously served as a multi-term member of the Tulsa Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma; a founding member of the Board and long-time Treasurer of the Tristesse Healing Hearts Grief Center; a member of the Tulsa Chapter and two-time former Superior District Governor of the American Business Club, as well as a two-time Tulsa Chapter President.
