Brian focuses his corporate practice primarily on business transactions, such as: mergers/acquisitions, business formation and structure, contract negotiation, real estate transactions and leasing, debt/equity issuance and related security agreements, and shareholder/employee agreements and buyouts. He also counsels business owners in franchising; international transactions; retention of key employees; growth and protection of business assets; and the exit planning process. Brian currently serves as General Counsel to a land and water development company and is the founder and CEO of a back-office administrative support company.
Brian received a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, School of Law. He has been a frequent speaker/presenter on mergers/acquisitions, international business and other corporate transactional subjects. He has been recognized as one of the “Forty Under 40” by the Denver Business Journal and a three-time “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers Magazine. Brian is an avid cycling fan and long-time supporter of the Children’s Hospital Courage Classic bike ride. He and his wife enjoy putting the “fun” in dysfunction in the raising of their three wonderful children.
