Who can join IR Global?

Our membership consists of the highest quality legal, accountancy and financial advisors from boutique and mid-sized firms who service the mid-market. Firms which are focused on partner led, personal service and have extensive cross border experience. If that sounds like you then IR Global should be the international network you align to. By being a member of IR Global, you can demonstrate to your clients your own cross border and international capabilities, which in turn will make you more attractive to them and potentially new ones.

Will membership work for me?

The first and most important point to note, is that if you are going to be a member of IR Global and for your membership to succeed, we must work together. It is effectively a partnership between the two of us. We will do most of the work on your behalf, however, we will need some guidance from you from time to time on our regular catch-up calls. The most successful members we have are active and use the services available to them. If you join and just do nothing, and are a dormant member, then frankly, we don’t want you to join as you are not adding value to the group! We are only looking for active members.

Nearly everyone is joining for referrals, we understand that, and that is our main goal, and with a membership retention rate each year of 85 – 87%, we know nearly all members are happy, satisfied and getting referrals as well as a return on their investment.

How long is an IR Global membership valid?

As an exclusive network we pride ourselves on our extensive vetting process prior to all members joining us. Post the vetting process when you join IRG, your membership start date will begin when you are formally introduced to the group via your Client Manager. Our membership term is 12 months and on a rolling basis so we can both (IRG & the member) really be able to review progress and ensure the relationship between us is successful.

Around one month prior to renewal you will be contacted to discuss if we both feel the membership is working for us all. If you engage with us; make referrals to other members, meet IR colleagues when you travel, publish your news articles to our global audience, use our branding on your website and email signatures, join our on-line sessions and attend local meetings and conferences, then the chances of success are extremely high. If you don’t engage or use the services, then you will more than likely be one of the 10 – 15% that doesn’t renew. Either voluntarily, or by us.

How can I pay my IR Global fee?

You can pay for your IR Global invoice via Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

How do I find out the dates for the next IR Global meeting?

We host over a 100+ virtual and in-person events throughout the year offering numerous opportunities to connect with fellow members.

You can view all our events on our calendar HERE. Our interactive and user-friendly calendar will keep you up to date on our upcoming face-to-face events, registration details, group meetings and calls, and any date of note for our members. This will be the place for members to ‘meet’ each other, grow connections and to drive referral activity.

Can I attend a meeting if I am not a member?

Our meetings are created for our members to connect and build strong working relationships, so we do not offer non-member attendance.

Our Ethics committee works in conjunction with IR Global Senior Management to oversee our member protocols, which offer comprehensive guidance on the processes for both sending and receiving client instructions, as well as best practices and procedures to address potential issues.
