Densborn Blachly LLP are pleased to welcome Brett C. Wilson to the firm

Brett is an attorney in the firm’s Business Group.  Brett focuses his practice on a variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities, and corporate finance.  Brett also counsels businesses regarding a variety of data privacy and protection issues. 

Prior to joining Densborn Blachly, Brett consulted with Fortune 500 companies as a data privacy and cybersecurity associate at a Big 4 accounting firm.  Brett has deep experience with data governance issues and global data privacy and protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).  Brett holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). 

Brett received his J.D. cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.  While in law school, he served as an associate editor for the Indiana Law Journal, as a member of the school’s non-profit transactional clinic, and as a clerk for an established Indianapolis law firm.
