Tuğba has been working in the consultancy department of Güzeldere Balkan Göçen Attorney Partnership since 2018. She holds an LLB from Yeditepe University, where she studied with a full scholarship. Throughout her professional tenure, she pursued her master’s degree at İstanbul Bilgi University from 2019 to 2022, with a focus on her thesis discussing selective distribution agreements from the perspectives of obligations law and competition law.
Tuğba specializes in competition law, contract law, and data protection law as well as corporate law.
She has been involved in various compliance projects related to competition law and data protection law. Her responsibilities encompass drafting a wide range of agreements such as media agreements, retailer agreements, sales and services agreements, as well as commercial agreements, tailored to meet the needs of both domestic and international clients.
Tuğba has developed a proficiency in collaborating with domestic and international firms, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication across cultural and jurisdictional boundaries. Tuğba actively engages in negotiations aimed at amicably resolving commercial conflicts prior to litigation and provides consultancy services for dispute resolutions. Additionally, Tuğba has played an integral role in due diligence and M&A projects, particularly in drafting Shareholders’ Agreements (SHA) and Share Purchase Agreements (SPA).
