Tony Van de Calseyde specialises in employment law and social security law. He has broad expertise gained over many years in the various domains of individual and collective employment law, as well as social security law, focusing, in particular, on supplementary pensions. Following his traineeship at the Antwerp Bar, he co-managed a company in the private sector for three years, after which he joined the Bar again. Tony Van de Calseyde teaches social law in the Mediation postgraduate training programme at UA and UGent, regularly speaks at employment law seminars and has written many publications on this discipline. He assists both employers and employees with advisory services, in (appeal) court proceedings, and also has experience with proceedings before the Constitutional Court.
