Rob is a Partner of HYS & Co. Advocaten, graduated in Dutch Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1993. He specializes in real estate development and transactions, construction contracts, and industrial construction projects. He does not shy away from negotiating contracts with a high technical content.
Rob acts for clients across a range of real estate and industry sectors including multinationals, social housing companies, real estate developers, contractors, architects and advisors.
Admitted to the Dutch bar in 1999. Before that he had already gained a broad experience in business. Not only as a corporate lawyer, but also as a manager of commercial real estate portfolios. “I think like a corporate lawyer, from the broader strategic perspective of the client. I am always focused on the solution, but prepared to go for legal enforcement if necessary. The best legal procedure is one that is settled before the hearing day.”
Rob enjoys cycling and open water swimming and regularly performs as a guitarist in bands.
