Torres Legal was founded in 2009 by a group of lawyers and notaries with more than 35 years of experience in business and financial preparation who practice law under the current demands of innovation and technology. Globalization has allowed them to have professional experience both in El Salvador and abroad, which makes it a solid firm and the best allies and legal advisors of companies.

The firm also specializes in different technological areas, such as new technologies in conjunction with the part of cryptoactives. Oscar Giralt has been practicing Public and Private Law for more than 21 years. Experience in the areas of Public Administration, Corporate Law, Tax Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Public Information, Negotiation and Political Leadership.

Career

He held different positions within the Court of Accounts of the Republic of El Salvador, starting as a legal collaborator, trainer on administrative and jurisdictional auditing, and responsible for the legal area of the Department of Institutional Procurement and Contracting.

Giralt had an outstanding performance in the former Environmental Fund of El Salvador, holding the position of legal advisor and information officer. He was also a member of the Institutional Ethics Commission of the Government Ethics Tribunal.

In 2014, Giralt was hired at the Municipal Directorate for the Sustainable Management of Solid Waste of the Mayor's Office of San Salvador as legal advisor of the institution.

In the same year, he joined Torres Legal as partner and in charge of the Public Administration Department, advising state and private entities, officials and multinationals, and contributing in the decision making of financial operations of high impact projects in El Salvador.
