Experience
Advises on M&A transactions in the public and private markets, including privatisations – also private equity and venture capital funds. Advised on the buyer and seller sides at all stages of multi-million transactions – also international ones – including planning of the transaction structure, drafting of the transaction documents, financing, negotiations, and closing. Many of his clients hail from the finance, aviation, and new technologies sectors. Michał’s experience with start-ups and venture capital firms augments the GESSEL Tech team.
Before joining GESSEL in 2015, he worked with a number of Polish and international law firms.
Education
- Graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin (2010)
- Completed the Companies Academy postgraduate course at the Warsaw School of Economics (2012)
- as an Erasmus scholar, also studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lapland in Finland (2009)
- Admitted to practice as an advocate in 2014
Besides his native Polish, he is fluent in English.
