Juan Pablo Baraona is a founding partner of the Firm. He provides advice to national and foreign clients in operations related to the practice of mergers and acquisitions, including the organization and negotiation of processes of sale and purchase of companies and their assets, as well as in transactions that involve corporate associations. In these processes he has advised selling and buying parties, leading multidisciplinary work teams.
Mr. Baraona has a Law degree from Universidad de Chile and has a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University. Prior to the founding the Firm, he worked at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, New York. He has been Professor of Economics and Corporate Finance at the Faculty of Law of Universidad de Chile.
