We are an open-minded and light-hearted, but an effective law firm without any compromise. Lajer Law Firm is based in Budapest with a focus on insolvency law, banking and finance, corporate law, dispute resolution and real estate law. We offer full service in our main areas of practice not only in non-contentious matters but we also assist clients in enforcing their rights through litigation or arbitration. Our greatest success is to support our clients with our knowledge in their secure and efficient operation and business success.
Our team is customer-oriented and thus always open and ready to seek complex, tailor-made solutions to meet our clients’ expectations to the fullest, based on our knowledge and experience. In addition, our core values are also to think “out-of-the-box” while staying easy-going and approachable to clients. We are aware of the diversity of our clients’ needs. We are ready and able to serve multinational companies, small or mid-sized Hungarian ventures as well as private individuals. Our lawyers work together as an efficient team, always closely cooperating with each other and third party specialists. This ensures our clients’ access to a broader base of knowledge and experience, and our continuous availability.
In the course of our activity we also consider other legal systems and the European and international trends. This might be the reason for our open-mindedness for innovations that sometimes result in even extraordinary and unorthodox legal solutions as well.
Our lawyers have many years of banking law practice. The members of our Law firm prepared and reviewed numerous times the whole documentation (credit and collateral contracts) of numerous individual finance matters on behalf of national and foreign credit institutes and borrowers in Hungarian, German and English.
We have wide experience in corporate law matters regarding the entire course of operation of business companies, especially in electronic registration, due diligence, M&A transactions.
Litigation and arbitration is one of our main focuses, and our colleagues represented clients in numerous cases successfully before local and county courts, before courts of appeal and before the Hungarian Supreme Court as well. We our proud to mention that some of such litigations have also been published in professional legal periodicals due to their complex and innovative nature.
We are a member of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
