David is the chairman of the Dispute Resolution Division in Moore Barlow, a leading UK firm with 280 lawyers and offices in the City of London and across the South of England.
David’s areas of practice include insolvency, professional negligence, commercial litigation, property disputes and inheritance disputes. In relation to insolvency, David is experienced in exploring different ways to address financial difficulties with clients, including through informal negotiation with creditors or by assessing the risks/benefits of a more formal insolvency process, such as individual voluntary arrangements, company voluntary arrangements and bankruptcy and/or company wind up.
David regularly handles cases in the higher courts. David’s clients include companies of all sizes, banks, insurers and educational institutions. David has handled over 300 mediations across the UK with a success rate of over 90%. He has wide mediation experience, even lecturing on mediation in Kenya.
He is actively involved in a number of charities and organisations including as trustee.
