Harbour Chambers BVI is a boutique law service based in the British Virgin Islands.

Our practice focuses on preparation of legal opinion for a wide variety of clients; providing the services of Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths; applications for probate and letters of administration; Registry record searches;  and all land matters such as Non-Belongers Land Holding Licences, sale of land  and land transfers.

Our team of lawyers has a combined 30 years of service in the BVI legal field. Our experience in the Court System, including the Commercial Court and in the Financial Services Sector has sensitized us to the fact that our clients’ time is valuable and therefore, we will allocate our resources to assist them in meeting those crucial deadlines.

Expertise and Professional Background
David Abednego is the Managing Partner of Harbour Chambers BVI. He spent 11 years in the BVI Financial Services Commission as the Deputy Director and Director of the Insolvency Services Department having responsibility for the regulating of all insolvency practitioners in the BVI. He also served as the BVI Official Receiver where he was appointed by the Court as liquidator over companies in which there was a public interest.

David provides regulatory advice on financial services legislation to BVI regulated entities and insolvency advice to both regulated and nonregulated BVI companies. He also specializes in British Virgin Islands property law with great emphasis on residential property and raw land acquisition and disposal.

David is a notary public in the British Virgin Islands.
