Ali is a finance professional with over 10 years of experience in finance, banking, insurance and the manufacturing industry in Amsterdam, London and Dubai. More recently, Ali has gained extensive experience in the world of corporate services during his professional career in Dubai. 

In 2007, Ali graduated from the VU University in Amsterdam with a Masters in Finance Business Administration and began his career at Morgan Stanley, as a financial analyst focused in the real estate business in Europe, Asia and Australia. During his stint in the financial sector, Ali developed extensive financial and regulatory reporting knowledge and experience, having participated in several key internal projects including M&A transactions and restructuring and enhancing the framework of financial management across various business lines. 

In 2012, after 5 years in financial services, Ali decided to venture outside of Europe and took on the role of Regional Controller with a leading manufacturing firm in the cargo securing business, in Dubai. As the head of the finance division for the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, Ali was successful in establishing the Dubai operations as the regional manufacturing hub across the region. 

Having spent a number of years in a team leading and managerial positions and with a vision to set up his own business in the future, in 2016, Ali joined Trustmoore, a leading global corporate services provider, to set up their Dubai office as part of the groups strategic expansion. During which time Ali developed an in depth understanding of business development, the various UAE free zones, the legalities surrounding company formations and built a solid network of business partners including leading local UAE banks and law firms. 

With a sizeable portfolio of HNWI, corporate clients as well as strategic partners, in 2018, Ali founded Nimbus Corporate Services. Ali serves as the Managing Director, responsible for the operations and business development of the firm. With his wealth of experience in various industries, Ali’s key strength is advising clients and providing practical guidance to individuals, SMEs and larger corporations in setting up and conducting their business in the UAE and wider region. 

Ali is multi-lingual and speaks fluent Dutch, English and Urdu. Outside of his profession, Ali enjoys playing golf, traveling and learning about new cultures.
