Global Trade & Opportunities: Virtual Conference Roundup

Last week marked our 2024 Virtual Conference: Global Trade & Opportunities, where IR Global members from all over the world joined us for a diverse range of knowledge-sharing and speed networking sessions. Over 550 members and their colleagues registered to utilise the invaluable tools each session provided.

A huge thank you once again to our event sponsor, Mark Copeland Lawyers.

Tuesday 19th March

We kicked off with Tom Braegelmann’s session on how AI will not replace humans in professional services, but instead enhance their offering.

Later on, Doug DePeppe answered the question of ‘what’s hotter for 2024: AI or Web3?’ where he provided attendees with an overview of the future of data ownership and the web.

Wednesday 20th March

On Wednesday, Dr. Jesszika Udvari of Budlegal discussed the evolving role of ESG in professional services, including the regulations for conducting ESG assessments.

Thursday 21st March

Tommaso Fonti of BACCIARDI PARTNERS gave attendees an introduction to their Global Mobility practice. Each session’s group then split into individual breakout rooms, discussing topics including immigration issues, social security, and tax.

Friday 22nd March

On Friday, attendees had the opportunity to meet, connect and collaborate with other members worldwide in our speed networking sessions, forging the path for new relationships and referrals.

We hope that you enjoyed our Virtual Conference. Our next in-person conference will be our ‘On the Road’ conference in Boston at the end of June. If you’d like to join us, you can secure your ticket here.
