On 4th February, one of our Gold members, Katherine Evans, will be running the Warwick Half Marathon to fundraise for the Treesistance, a movement centered around the protection of the Amazon Rainforest, run by the Sinchi Foundation.
The funds raised will directly support the forest guardians from the Maró Indigenous Territory. These brave individuals risk their lives to patrol and protect the rainforest from forest crime; illegal logging and deforestation.
Having not run a half marathon for over twenty years, Katherine has been training tirelessly in preparation for the big day. Check out the video below to see how her training has been going:
