Payton & Associates Adds Art Law Practice

At Payton & Associates, Harry Payton combines his litigation expertise and business acumen with a passion for art and 30 years of collecting to lead the Miami firm’s art litigation practice.  The firm is well situated to represent artists, investors, collectors, dealers, auction houses, brokers, museums, galleries,  lenders and insurers in litigation matters  involving sales, consignment, financing, loans of artwork, commission claims and insured losses.  

Harry participates in a number of legal committees, including the American Bar Association Section of International Law, Art & Cultural Heritage Law Committee; American Bar Association Forum Committee on Entertainment and Sports Industries, Arts & Museums; and the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section. 

Harry is International Referral’s commercial litigation member in Florida, and a member of the steering committee of IR’s Private Client group. He is board certified by The Florida Bar in business litigation and civil trial.  His firm, Payton & Associates, LLC, is located in Miami, Florida.
