Panama, through Foreign Minister Alejandro Ferrer, established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Kenya.
The signing between Minister Ferrer and his counterpart, Kenyan Foreign Minister Monica Juma, took place in New York, within the framework of the Assembly of leaders of the nations organized by the UN.
“Because of its geographical position, Kenya has become like Panama in a commercial, logistics and financial center in its region, which is why it considers that the establishment of diplomatic relations with this nation allows us to strengthen our strengths,” said the Panamanian Foreign Minister on why the beginning of these relations with the African country.
While the Kenyan chancellor expressed about these new relationships that are expected to fulfill the signed commitments.
