Alongside our IR Global conferences, many of our members host their own events to allow closer connections to form between members who work across the same regions.
An upcoming meeting of the MENA group will take place in Casablanca & Marrakesh, Morocco from 30th October – 3rd November. This will be co-hosted by Msefer & Associes, Bennani Law Firm, Komon Avocats, Abousleiman & Co, Sagiure Legal, Paul Beare Ltd, UGGC Avocats, and Reef Rechtsanwälte.
There will be a pre-event welcome reception on 30th October at Maison Gapi in Casablanca, followed by an opening speech at Hotel Casablanca the next morning. The agenda for the 31st October consists of a series of panels covering key topics such as capital investment and data protection in Morocco, providing valuable insights from renowned speakers. The day will close with a visit to Mosque Hassan II and a dinner at Dar Dada which will provide an opportunity to network with your fellow members.
The schedule over the following two days has events in both Casablanca and Marrakesh, with transportation arranged between the two cities. The program will consist of talks on further key topics including negotiation strategies, women in tech and mental health challenges in today’s work environment, with insights from experts like Ibrahim Msefer, a leading psychiatrist from Casablanca.
The meeting will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, each offering unique perspectives on key industries. Omar Laalej, a key figure at AL MADA, will discuss the company’s role in driving sustainable growth in Africa through diverse investments. Hanna Karakina, from Eurasian Resources Group, will share her expertise in the mining and renewable energy sectors, while Omar Bekkali from AfricInvest Morocco will explore investment opportunities in various industries. Additionally, Mohamed Benchaboun from FM6I and Hassan Laaziri from AMIC will provide insights into Morocco’s evolving investment landscape, offering valuable knowledge on the country’s economic growth and potential.
The event will conclude on the 2nd of November with a cocktail dinner in Marrakesh, offering further opportunities to network.
