We’ve had another exciting 6 months at IR Global! Here are our highlights between June and December 2023:
#IRAMSTERDAM23
In September, we hosted our much anticipated Annual Conference in Amsterdam. Attending members joined us at the luxurious Hotel Okura for networking and knowledge-building activities, as well as incredible food!
Congratulations once again to our 2023 Member Of The Year, Paul Beare, as well as runners up Caroline Joly and Michael Kean.

Regional Meetings
Between June and December, our members hosted regional and practice-area-specific events in Stockholm, Luxembourg, London, Munich, Cairo, Buenos Aires and Brisbane, with a member meeting in Singapore next week too (20th of December).
These more intimate meetings are valuable for relationship building and bringing local communities together.

All Change
In October, we released our latest publication ‘All Change – A shifting geopolitical & economic climate’. It features unique perspectives from 43 IR Global members on new changes, challenges and opportunities, and how they are impacting their jurisdiction.
IBA Conference
At the end of October, the IR Global team exhibited at the International Bar Association (IBA)’s annual conference in Paris.
It was great to meet with our attending members, as well as meet many new faces, giving us the opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our member firms who can act as a resource for anyone looking to do business globally.
Team
The IR Global team enjoyed a team building day out to an escape room in August. We have also been fortunate enough to go out for numerous team lunches and enjoy plenty of walks around the farm.
Press & Podcasts
IR Global is regularly featured in major international business and industry press as an expert commentator on various subjects. In recent months, we’ve achieved a number of placements for a number of our members and partners. From compulsory ADR to embracing flexible working post-Covid, read our latest press articles here.

CSR
In 2023, we are proud to have offset the environmental footprint from our conferences by donating a percentage from each ticket purchased to the Maparajuba Legal Collective in Para, Brazil. ‘Maparajuba Advocacia Popular na Amazônia’ is a self-governing, non-profit, legal collective which promotes, defends, and protects the rights of indigenous peoples and communities in the Amazon.
We have also continued to support the Treesistance, and are proud that the movement’s ‘Forest Guardian’ programme consists of six IR Global member firms. Thank you to Moore Barlow, Schwarz Law Partners LLP, Koffels Solicitors & Barristers, Synergy Business Lawyers, Nordeq and Illume Investigations for their vital support.
IR Global in 2024
Going forward, we’re excited to announce our new tagline: Integrity. Impact. Quality.
From 20th – 24th February 2024, many of our members will meet in Dubai at the Anantara Downtown Hotel for our next ‘On the Road’ Conference. If you’d like to join us, a limited number of tickets are still available here.
We’ll also be launching our new publication – The Visionaries – in Spring, which will showcase IR Global members’ expertise and thought leadership on a series of current and important topics.
As well as our popular in-person events, our Virtual Event will take place from 18th – 22nd March. Sessions are open to all members and their colleagues to maximise networking opportunities. Each session will be hosted twice a day at 8.00am and 4.00pm UK time.
Speed networking sessions will also continue throughout 2024, giving our members the opportunity to make new connections within the network from anywhere in the world.
Tickets are also now available for our ‘On the Road’ Conference in Boston from 25th – 29th June, which can be secured here.
Finally, from 21st – 24th September, we’ll be bringing IR Global members to Paris for our 2024 Annual Conference – stay tuned for more details!
