Helen Blackburn and Mandeep Gill of iFLG elected Chair and Treasurer of the Child Abduction Lawyers Association

Helen Blackburn and Mandeep Gill were elected Chair and Treasurer of CALA (the Child Abduction Lawyers Association) at CALA’s AGM earlier this month.

CALA is the first formal association in England of lawyers who specialise in the field of child abduction law.  CALA is committed to sharing information and ideas, to learning from one another and maintaining the current high standards of the profession and providing a collective voice for those that specialise in the field of child abduction law.

Anyone who has an interest in Child Abduction law is welcome to apply to join CALA and become a part of this exciting new association. CALA welcomes applications for membership from solicitors, barristers, legal executives, other non-practising lawyers, Judges and academics from within the UK and abroad.
