Theo born in Cyprus and he is a member of the Nicosia and Cyprus Bar Association. He obtained a law degree (LLB with Hons) from the University of Essex in United Kingdom. He has also acquired the professional diploma Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law. Theo is one of the founding partners of CTA Law Firm and he is heading the International desk of the firm.
Theo is an experienced Lawyer with a demonstrated history on Investments. As an Investment experienced lawyer based in Cyprus, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist clients navigate the complex legal landscape of investment management. With focus on delivering practical solutions that address the unique needs of each client, he has also built a reputation for providing top-tier legal services to businesses and individuals alike.
Theo has great experience on assisting clients establish and manage a range of investment vehicles, from Private Equity Funds and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). He also has experience on advising on the structuring, licensing and ongoing regulatory compliance of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) (with emphasis on AIFs targeting sophisticated investors on a private placement scheme) and Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs). He works closely with clients to understand their investment objectives and design structures that are tailored to their specific needs, while ensuring full compliance with local and European regulations.
