Amsterdam 26 October 2016. BWK Partners Attorneys in Amsterdam has assisted WABCO Vehicle Control Systems with the reorganization of its subsidiary WABCO B.V. including the shutdown of its local production facility in Meppel, the Netherlands.
The listed company WABCO Vehicle Control Systems (NYSE: WBC) is a global manufacturer and distributor of automated braking, stability and transmission systems. A team of BWK Partners in law (under the supervision of Uri Aloni and Esther van der Meulen) has assisted WABCO B.V., i.a., with the advisory procedure regarding the Netherlands works council, regulatory matters regarding mass redundancies and the negotiations with the trade unions about a social plan. After receiving the positive advice from the works council and after reaching agreement with the trade unions on the social plan, the reorganization has been successfully completed. The reorganization has currently reached its final stage and it will be finalized within the intended time frame.
