We’ve hit the ground running in 2024. Here are our highlights of this year so far:

Our first ‘On the Road’ Conference of the year took our team and members to Dubai, where we welcomed 130+ members from all over the world to the impressive Anantara Downtown Hotel.

Virtual Sessions
The 19th – 22nd March marked our Virtual Event: Global Trade & Opportunities, where IR Global members from all over the world joined us for a diverse range of knowledge-sharing and speed networking sessions. Over 550 members and their colleagues registered to utilise the invaluable tools each session provided.
Throughout the year, we have continued to host our successful speed networking sessions, providing members with the opportunity to facilitate new relationships with other members both new and long standing to the group. These sessions will continue throughout the rest of the year.
In April, we introduced our new bi-monthly Membership Insights sessions, answering questions members may have and improving the membership experience. Our next sessions will take place on Wednesday, 21st August at 8am and 4pm UK time.

Regional Meetings
Between January and July, our members hosted regional and practice-area-specific events in Singapore, Copenhagen, Rome, Warsaw, Sacramento, Maastricht, Bucharest, Dublin, Tallinn, Barcelona & Zurich.
These more intimate meetings are valuable for relationship building and bringing local communities together.

The Visionaries
In March, we launched the first edition of our new publication, The Visionaries. It contains the expertise of 35 IR Global members from 27 jurisdictions and acts as a toolkit for navigating the current challenges faced by professional services firms. Read it here.

Press & Podcasts
IR Global members are regularly featured in major international business and industry press as expert commentators on various subjects. In recent months, we’ve achieved more than twelve placements for a number of our members and partners. Trusted Partners
Our Trusted Partners are organisations who share our ethos and we highly recommend to both our members and clients. We have six new trusted partners so far this year, providing new opportunities for our members: Currencies Direct, Link Translation Bureau Limited, OnCall Cyber, John R Kormanik Coaching, JD Supra, and International Succession Planning Association (ISPA).
Team
The IR Global team have enjoyed a team building day and numerous team lunches so far this year. A few of us even participated in a Wolf Run back in April! With the weather getting slightly warmer, we’re also enjoying regular lunchtime walks in our scenic farm location.

Some of the IR Global team are currently at our second ‘On the Road’ conference of the year over in Boston at the historic Fairmont Copley Plaza. Attendees will be enjoying breakout sessions and workshops, alongside presentations and networking as well as a jam-packed social schedule.
Looking Ahead
Later this year, we look forward to our Annual Conference: The Big Picture in Paris this September, as well as our Dealmakers Conference in London in November. See you there!
