Valentin provides legal support to the clients in: establishment and reorganization of businesses, consulting and preparation of international and Russian JVs, coordination of M&A transactions, representation of the interests of industrial holdings in disputes with the FAS of the Russian Federation, regulation of relations between shareholders/participants of corporations, participation in the presentation of clients in criminal cases related to economic crimes and crimes in the field of industrial safety, consulting of companies in the field of aircraft industry, space industry, mine rescue, health care, railway transportation, television broadcasting, construction and other corporate and commercial law matters. Among Valentin’s main M&A projects are the creation and subsequent corporate restructuring of a joint venture between Sukhoi and Alenia Aernautica SpA in the field of civil aviation – the production and sale of SSJ-100 aircraft, namely: the creation of a joint venture between GSS in the Russian Federation and SJI in Italy and the legal design of the project business model. Valentin provides legal assistance both in cases related to commercial/corporate activities – tax crimes (Article 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and abuse of authority (Article 201 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and in the event of major man-made accidents (Articles 216 and 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Also among the completed projects of Valentin are consulting EUROCEMENT Group in connection with the court challenge to the fine and restrictions on the activities imposed by the FAS of the Russian Federation, and the implementation of comprehensive protection of SAP AG in the framework of a dispute for 25 million euros, during which Valentin bankrupt the debtor SAP AG, and represented SAP AG in the dispute regarding the trademark.
