In 2010 I obtained my degree as paralegal after which I started my professional career as an assistant at the public prosecutor's office (Court of Appeal in Antwerp). After five years and having passed the selections of court clerk, I left the public prosecutor's office and joined the judiciary magistracy as a court clerk, section criminal law (also Court of Appeal in Antwerp). I was, among other things, senior clerk (supervisor) at the clerk’s office, section chamber of indictment and I also worked as a press clerk.

It was during my time as a court clerk that I registered at the Free University of Brussels to obtain my Master's degree in Law. After having combined these studies as a working student with my position as a court clerk, I graduated cum laude in 2019 (Master's degree in Law, majoring in Criminal Law). An interest in tax law developed during these studies, so in academic year 2019-2020 I took an additional course in Tax Law.

After having worked at the Antwerp Court of Appeal for 10 years I made the switch to the bar on 1 September 2020 and joined the Antaxius office. Within Antaxius, I get to combine my two interests, tax and criminal law. With regard to tax law (tax procedure), I assist clients at both the administrative stage (disputes with the tax administration) and the judicial stage (disputes before the court). When dealing with criminal files (white-collar crime) I assist both suspects and victims (assistance in police interrogation, court proceedings,…).
