Education and career
Following his legal studies in Leiden, Sacha started as a lawyer within De Clercq’s Business Law practice group in 2005. In the early years, he gained extensive experience in wider business law practice. After completing a postdoctoral study programme at the Grotius Academy in 2010, he decided to specialise further in litigation and other forms of dispute resolution, such as arbitration. Sacha has meanwhile made partner in the Business Law practice group, where his work mainly consists of finding appropriate solutions for disputes and litigation.
Sacha’s daily practice
‘I have extensive experience in advising and representing parties in liability matters, proceedings and other disputes. As a lawyer, I specialise mainly in the area of corporate litigation, focusing on directors’ and officers’ liability and professional indemnity, disputes between shareholders and disputes between businesses. If you are a director or entrepreneur, I can also advise you on avoiding disputes and liability, and on how to organise corporate governance so as to ensure effective supervision.’
