I have spent my whole career in sales and marketing. Focusing on brand development and building supply networks within a B2B environment. Much of my career has been spent overseas, which gives me a fantastic insight into different working cultures and what international advisors are looking from their partners.
I manage the UK operation of IR, both in sales and finance. Speaking with members on a daily basis ensures I know what is expected of IR and it's my job to deliver these expectations!
Two key points spring to mind; building the IR team to what it is today, and the IR events. The events are held locally in Europe for the annual conference each Autumn, but also for our ‘On the Road’ series where we travel to a different international location. Since 2012 we have held conferences in Brussels, London, Miami, Dubai, Shanghai, San Francisco and Amsterdam. It is an honour to share time with the members and create brilliant memories for us all.
As I have twin daughters, much of the time is spent chasing after them! Aside from that, my other personal interests are Sports, Film, Music, Anthropology and 20th century social and political history.
I have a rare 1985 Skyway Street Beat BMX at home which is my pride and joy, and ride it during the summer months to relax.
IR has been designed to assist leading professional services firms with the growth of their business. The group is highly idiosyncratic and transfers these unique skills to its members via regular global events, training and the use of cutting edge internet marketing and technology.
The networks ultimate goal is to bring like minded individuals together and assist in building new relationships which are mutually beneficial. This includes the sharing of opportunities, joint marketing collaboration and referrals.
