Peter is managing partner at Zirkzee Group accountants and tax lawyers, a top 75 firm in The Netherlands, with 4 equity partners and 60 professionals working from three branches in Oegstgeest/Leiden, Noordwijk and Gouda.

Peter graduated as CPA/Chartered Accountant in 1990.

Peter has almost 40 years of working experience as Auditor, Accountant and Controller. Peter started working for Zirkzee in 1990 and became an equity partner in 1993. Since then Peter is and was, within Zirkzee, responsible for various matters among others internal accounting and financial reporting, HRM, chairman of shareholders’ meeting, chairman of Zirkzee’s professional bureau.

Besides his activities for Zirkzee Peter is also a member of the disciplinary board of the RB (Register Belastingadviseurs - Register Tax Advisers).

Being born within a family of entrepreneurs (his parents being inland navigation skippers) it was clear at an early age that Peter would become an entrepreneur.

Peter has visited almost all continents. Apart from having relatives living in the USA, Africa and Asia whom he visits regularly, he likes to visit cities to experience other cultures. His latest travels were to Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, Dalian, Dandong, Hong Kong, Shenyang and Bangkok.

Among his hobbies are listening to podcasts (genre politics, policy, culture and other stuff) and reading his e-books (genre historical fiction).
