Our path began in 2004, where we understood that the Portuguese market was underserved in terms of high-quality independent investment advisory firms and we quickly built a portfolio of national and international clients. We developed our activities since then under Bluemint Capital.

In November 2022, part of the M&A operations and the Management Service Agreements of Bluemint Capital were spun off into Beresford Capital Advisors

Pedro is currently Managing Partner of Beresford Capital. Pedro has held several senior positions in banking and financial services, notably as Board Member of Banco Primus, which he co-founded, and BBVA Portugal. For more than 20 years he built a consistent career in financial services that encompasses senior positions with Grupo Espírito Santo, Deutsche Bank and BCP. After successfully selling Banco Primus, in 2008 he decided to launch Absolut Midas which later became part of Bluemint Capital. In addition, Pedro has been an active entrepreneur since 1994, having funded investment initiatives in ventures ranging from consumer goods to high tech.
