Olivier Rivoire advises and represents Swiss and foreign clients in his areas of expertise: banking and financial law, corporate law, immigration law and inheritance law.
Attentive to the needs of his clients, pragmatic and determined, he advises and represents in court individuals, companies (multinationals, SMEs and startups), as well as non-governmental organizations, established both in Switzerland and abroad.
Drawing on his experience as a corporate lawyer and attorney, Olivier Rivoire provides his services mainly in the following areas: regulatory advice to financial intermediaries (in particular banks and wealth managers), corporate law (in particular: creation and liquidation of companies, drafting of shareholders’ agreements, debt recovery, enforcement in Switzerland of foreign judgments and arbitral awards and contract law), immigration law, inheritance law and conflict resolution (judicial, mediation and arbitration).
In financial matters, he has been certified since 2020 by the Federal Department of Finance as a mediator within the meaning of the Federal Act on Financial Services, LSFin. Before joining Reiser Law Firm in 2024 as a partner, Olivier Rivoire was a partner for over five years in a law firm that had been based in Geneva for around thirty years. Previously, he had worked for several years in the legal department of two leading banking institutions present in Switzerland and internationally, as well as with the “Banking Division” of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in Bern and Zurich.
