Gaius Ateius Capito († 22 AD) is considered one of the most important founding fathers of Roman law. Like no other in his day, this outstanding scholar of law knew how to find a clear solution to complex issues. His name is still an inspiring role model for us today and the simplification of this name to the artificial word ATEUS expresses our activities within Austria, the European Union and other parts of the world.
