Matthew is the Group General Manager of Southpac Group and is based at the Group office in Tauranga, New Zealand. He is passionate about the world-class fiduciary services Southpac provides through its trustee companies in the Cook Islands, Nevis and New Zealand to help clients safeguard their assets and protect their legacies through the use of international trusts, companies and foundations.
Matthew is a dual-qualified lawyer who has been admitted to practice in both England and Wales (2008) and New Zealand (2017). After joining Southpac in 2017 he served as General Counsel from 2020 to 2022 and has worked closely with many of Southpac’s clients and referrers during his time with the company.
He is a designated Trusts and Estates Practitioner and obtained a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management in 2021, achieving three STEP Excellence Awards in the process.
