Accountants face both challenges and opportunities in this evolving business landscape. Some strive to reduce dependence on the partners while creating more capacity and a better work-life balance. Some hope to offer more business advisory services to increase profit and add more value to clients' businesses. Others are trying to attract new clients, improve client relationships, build stellar teams or build the most valuable business in anticipation of an exit. Many aspire to a blend of these ambitions.
