Biography

María-Luz Sintes, owner lawyer at Sintes Law Firm, has been a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Las Palmas (Bar Association of Las Palmas) since 1986, and of the International Union of Lawyers (UIA) since 2013.

Before creating Sintes Law Firm, she was a Lawyer for the Legal Services of the Government of the Canary Islands (Servicios Jurídicos del Gobierno de Canarias), where she developed legal assistance functions: advice, and representation and defense in court.

She is licenciada en Derecho since 1986 (Colegio Universitario CEU San Pablo, Universidad Complutense de Madrid), and licenciada en Ciencias Políticas y Sociología (Section: Ciencia Política y de la Administración) (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) since 1988.

In 1990 she joined the Cuerpo Superior de Administradores, Escala de Administradores Financieros y Tributarios, de la Administración de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias, and in 1999 the Cuerpo Superior Facultativo, Escala de Letrados, de la Administración de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias.
